| My job is to be creative. I get paid to think "outside the box", which in theory is the best job ever, but sometimes it gets hard. I hate hitting creative blocks. I seem to kind of be in one now. That is why I am blogging bout it. I must find my way out before I get stuck here. I have a headache and I feel like I can't stop staring at the computer screen. I am pretty sure that I only blink about once a minute or something like that. So basically my eye balls are so dry, they're about to fall out of my head. What if they did....then I could just set them in cups of water until they rehydrate and then pop them back in. Whattttt.......

| I love this weather outside sooooo much! I hate the man for making me sit inside by my computer all day. The only thing that gets me through is knowing that because of all my toil, I will have money to go snowboarding. It is just October and I already have 2 boarding trips cooked up. It is very sad to have all your friends get sweet jobs and move away but I do have reason to dry my tears. One of my favorite friends happens to live in Brek and so I will be staying with him for FREE and getting lift tickets for FREE! Yipee! I have already ordered a new boarding coat so now I just have to be patient and pray for lots of snow. Soon enough it will be time to cut it up again. Last year I made 2 major bench marks in my boarding ability. 1. I did my first double black diamond 2. I hit a tree dead on, going pretty fast, and figured the intense mixture of excitement & terror that i felt before i hit must of been how Sunny felt right before he died. I hope that I die doing something I enjoy and not from cancer or something like that. But enough about all that. To pass the time til the Rockies are covered in snow, I am going to do several things such as...Hit up OU/TX this weekend, Carve pumkins, Hopefully learn the foxtrop and tango, Go gambling with my crazy aunt, celebrate Jake's birthday...and other stuff that i don't feel like listing. Oh and in case any of you are interested, I gave my website a new look. So feel free to check it out. www.amandapotter.com | | |
| Soooo last week my bro came into town and I got to hang with him. Pretty sure we sported some putt-putt golf, it was awesome!!! I am proud to say that I hit my ball into the drink only once, a new record for me. We also went to the lake and did some boarding, I can't remember the last time something made me so sore.
This last weekend, I went with Jake to his family's lake house in Eufala. We didnt do much...just played some croquette and swam in the lake. The wind was blowing so hard it was like the ocean and so any attempt to try and float on a raft would end in me being swept 1 mile down shore in about 5 minutes.
Saturday night I had another bachelorette party with some old friends. We hung at the Mont under the tiki umbrella. It was good times. It is werid to see my old sorority sisters, who used to be so wild all married and settled down. I'm not sure what to make of it.
This Friday, I have an engagement party to go to in Shreveport, LA. That's where I grew up. I am excited to see Shreveport, I havn't been down in probably 6-7 years! I know that I am going to see lots of people that I used to know, which will be cool. Also I am pumped because the party is going to include a catfish fry!!! Yaaaa for the South!!!!
| I love this time of year!!! The weather is awesome and I know that soon I will be able to go to the lake! Everyone is getting out of school and even though I havnt been in school for the last year, I am really pumped about everyone having more time to hang out. This weekend was really awesome. Here are the highlights...
_Went to Seminole, OK and met at a Brams for a business meeting. I mean only in Oklahoma would people do buisness in Brams. It was awesome. The best part was that my clients showed up in t-shirts and baseball caps.
_On my way back from Seminole Cody & I saved a turtle that was trying to cross the road.
_I went camping with Jake, which was soooooo much fun!!! We had a fire and everything. I got to roast some mellows and sit under the stars with my best friend. And I only found one tick on me when I got home.
_I got to go out to some stables and play with baby ponies. They are about the cutest things ever. Kinda like playing with really big dogs, that might kick you.
_Went for a ride on the back of Jake's new motorcycle. Then we got snowcones.

| Here are the highlights...
_Artwalk in the Paseo with Anje and one of her friends. Dinner at Galileos, which was amazing. Checked out some amazing glass work that reminded me of going to the island of Mirano, where all the glass in the Bellagio casino was made.
_PANAM Party. Oh how my friends and I love to dance the night away with foreigners. Stayed out til 2 am just dancing, which is impressive when you consider that there was no drunkeness involved, well not on my part that is...
_Todd & Paige's wedding. Actually this wasnt too exciting except for the fact that I got to see some old friends.
_Hammock Time. Jake took me out to the lake and we set up his mexican hammock by the water. We just layed there and relaxed for probably 3 hours. It was sooooo nice to be outside and hear the water and just chill for a while. I can't wait until we can go boating.
_Sunday lunch at Tea Cafe. Split a rice box and got my fav tea with some of my favorite people.
